Go IAQS for Schools

We are delighted to see the launch of The GO IAQS for Schools plan. It is a global intervention designed to transform school environments from passive shelters into active health-protective zones.

While current international guidelines provide generic advice on ventilation, they often fail to establish health-based limits. GO AQS addresses this gap by implementing specific, measurable targets for pollutants to ensure every child breathes safe air. 

This new strategy is based on the highest air quality standards being maintained at levels that protect clinically vulnerable children; those with compromised immune systems or respiratory conditions.

I understand the consequences of this from painfully personal experience. Every child deserves to attend school safely, without risking illness. The quality of air within a school should not be ignored; it is a critical variable.
