Great Response From Bristol Residents

Ruth Brooker, the founder of Clean Air for Kids, took her campaign to the streets of Bristol, and got a lot of interest from local residents.

Many people Ruth spoke to weren’t aware of the sheer amount of pollution and other invisible nasties in the air we all breathe. But when they saw the two air cleaners, one new and the other used, they were horrified. The used filter was black, showing just how many harmful pollutants we breathe in without knowing.

We drink two litres of water and breathe in 11,000 litres of air every day. We wouldn’t dream of drinking dirty water, so why are we so happy breathing in dirty air?
