Ruth Brooker (founder of Clean Air for Kids) was invited in to the BBC studios this week, for an interview with John Darvall, to talk about her mission to help reduce sickness absence in schools by improving the classroom air quality.
The solutions are simple, and cost effective. Installing an air filter would cost just £8 per pupil per year and would drastically reduce the spread of illnesses.
